Michael is a highly personable and passionate practitioner with 18 years of experience within business advisory services and with successful business leaders.
Michael is well known for his technical abilities in accounting, financial management, tax, and asset protection, which in turn help his clients achieve business outcomes that are practical, measurable and which improve business profitability.
His experience includes working with five of the top 100 Family Groups in Australia, managing their taxation requirements. This provided an excellent foundation for his role at JMp, along with the opportunity to delve into different industries and help family groups with advice, succession planning and growth strategies.
Michael also worked with one of the largest online art retailers, and the opportunity to work on television reality programmes and with the hosts and stars of The Block, Love or List It and House Rules, along with well-known interior designers. There, he applied his digital eCommerce expertise to expand the business, help generate a larger digital footprint as well as stronger profit margins.
Today, he brings all of these skills to JMp, where he specialises in family-owned businesses offices with eCommerce industries, online start-ups, SMSFs and property development.
His business highlights include ASX-listed merger and acquisition takeovers including the AMA Group Ltd and a separate deal relating to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Michael worked tirelessly behind the scenes on both deals, ensuring a smooth transaction for all parties, with all compliance elements met and every element executed on time to secure the sales.
